Summer Soda Rock Festa is a Special Episode introduced in the Summer Soda Rock Festa update (v4.7). It is unlocked once the player clears 10 Islands in Tropical Soda Islands, though it can be unlocked early by purchasing it with 3,000 Crystals (or 300 Crystals during the Summer Soda Rock Festa update).

Overview[]
Summer Soda Rock Festa is composed of various levels and areas, where players progress in a very similar fashion to World Exploration. Battle levels uses Rock Festa Quills to progress, which refill over time (or are obtained from various Events like Summer Soda Rock Festa Daily Gifts Event). By clearing stages, players can earn Coins, Kingdom EXP, Cookie EXP, as well as Rock Festa Catnip Coins. Glittering Pins can also be earned from levels during the Summer Soda Rock Festa update.Completing this Special Episode will unlock its Dark Mode, which is more difficult but has better rewards.

Rock Festa Quills refill at the speed of 1 quill/40 min. 12 quills can be obtained 3 times by either purchasing with 300 Crystals or watching ads. They can also be obtained by purchasing certain packages.

Rock Festa Catnip Coins are the main rewards in this Special Episode. Players can exchange Rock Festa Catnip Coins for various items in Summer Soda Shop, which can be accessed by tapping on Catnip Cookie in Artist Zone. If the player has purchased everything from the shop, every Rock Festa Catnip Coin obtained after that is converted to 100 Coins each.

Appearing Cookies[]
As players progress through the Story, they'll encounter various characters. Information about them is added in the "Appearing Cookies" section (called "Festival Lineup" to fit the theme) as the Story progresses, where players can review the lore about these cookies. Completing all information of a character will reward the player 100 Crystals.
Shining Glitter Cookie[]
- The ultra-busy superstar has five managers! That's right: five managers working for Shining Glitter Cookie on shifts.
- Her agency initially wanted her to debut as a sweet singer-songwriter, but Shining Glitter Cookie insisted on becoming a fierce pop star!

Black Lemonade Cookie[]
- Fingerpicking the guitar sounds different from playing with an actual pick... or, so they say. That's why Black Lemonade Cookie keeps shifting from one technique to the other, holding her pick in her mouth. But who knows, Black Lemonade Cookie might be the only one who can hear the difference...
- Rockstar Cookie was Black Lemonade's biggest inspiration back when he would smash his guitar as part of his performance. Some even say that her current music, outfits, and stage concept remind them of that era...
- Black Lemonade Cookie has been rocking her signature bob since her student days. The only current difference is the added yellow highlights, made from natural lemon-colored icing.
- Black Lemonade Cookie's most listened to songs are all pop songs, surprisingly. Thanks to Shining Glitter Cookie, it was all she heard growing up.
Rockstar Cookie[]
- Rock stars never age! This rocker maintains a surprisingly youthful appearance, considering how many years he's been active in the rock scene. His real age...? You'll never know!
- This legend still remembers the days when he would travel the world as a completely unknown musician, busking here and there. With barely any Coins and far away from home, it was a tough time. But, as he often says in interviews: the Spirit of Rock only lives in those who have faced true hardship.
- One time, Rockstar Cookie was invited to a rock festival held on the outskirts of the Cookie Kingdom, unaware that it was an actual rock... festival. It turned out to be a blast, so now he comes every year!
- There are rumors saying that there's some deep backstory behind Rockstar Cookie's red guitar that he's never seen without. However, it's the one topic he always avoids in interviews, so no one knows the details.
Parfait Cookie[]
- it's said that she gained a bunch of fan after her appearance at JellyPalooza Rock Festival. That's why she was invited to this years Summer Soda Rock Festa!
- Parfait Cookie didn't realize how severe her seasickness was before she had to sail to the Summer Soda Rock Festa.
- The Summer Soda Rock Festa was the first time Parfait Cookie showed off a bold new style with fewer toppings than usual. Feeling a bit lighter, she was able to run around more freely!
- This Cookie loves clothes with long sleeves. After a LOT of practice, she even claims to be able to play the guitar with her sleeves covering her hands! No other Cookie has been able to imitate this feat yet.
Shacka Rocka[]
- Now THIS is the original rock star of Pineapple Isle! At the height of his fame, Coconuts would faint just at the sight of Shacka Rocka!
- Rumors have it that his debut album sold over 20 million copies! The songs compared the soda-scented breeze on a pineapple's rough surface to the world's oppressive gaze...
- The founder of a new genre that combines rock with... maracas. His custom-made maracas have pineapple seeds inside that have been dried for more than 45 days.
- He still rides the motorbike he bought with the money made from his first album. Apparently, he regards the bike as his partner in music!
Mangosting[]
- Mangosting's songs undergo many revisions before seeing the light of day: there are too many syllables! Turns out that he writes his lyrics first!
- Cookies gather around for the sweet aroma and music of Mango Cookie, but often get tired at the long explanations of his songs...
- Lots of Cookies mishear Mangosting's stage name as Mangosteen, which is a big issue...
- It is said that this Cookie started singing while rowing alone on the calm Soda Sea, with not a single Cookie around to hear him. His only audience was the occasional Creamgull flying by above.
Bassist Cookie[]
- Bassist Cookie said the reason he joined Black Lemonade Cookie's band was her asking: "Your name is Bassist Cookie, I see. Wanna play bass?"
- In fact, he had no idea how to play bass when he first joined the band.
- Black Lemonade Cookie always criticizes his fashion choices, but he doesn't care! After all, he looks amazing when he poses in front of the mirror.
- Bassist Cookie's lucky lemon pick stems from way back, when the early members of SparkL cut a lemon up and took a piece each.
COCONUTS[]
- No drummer required! All the coconuts beat their shells to produce a beat.
- The more intense the performance, the richer the coconut oil, which keeps their leaves healthy despite repeated use of artificial colors.
- Actually, all three members are capable of taking off their shell. One of them always performs without one. For a truly NUTS show!
- The band started performing when those pesky Durianeers took control of Pineapple Isle. In a way, the band can be seen as a group of independence fighters!
Gnome Band[]
- What could possibly make non-stop Kingdom construction more enjoyable? Why, a happy work song, of course!
- A Sugar Gnome with a great voice once converted a broken shovel into a guitar. That's how it all began!
- Believe it or not, it's been shown that Sugar Gnomes who listen to the Gnome Band's songs increase their efficiency by four times!
- The song that the Gnome Band performed at the Summer Soda Rock Festa is so popular among Sugar Gnomes that you can't find a Gnome who doesn't know it!
WERETOFLOW[]
- All of Werewolf Cookie's outfits were made from faux leather, so no animals were harmed in the name of fashion!
- His stage name, WERETOFLOW, is inspired by his tears flowing in loneliness...
- Werewolf Cookie worried about participating in the Summer Soda Rock Festa for a long time because he'd be performing in front of so many Cookies. But in the end, the organizers managed to persuade him.
- In an interview, he revealed how the only thing that soothes his soul is spending time alone in the woods, howling.
Scovillia Headmaster[]
- It's said that no Cookie has ever seen what lies behind the mask of the spicy Scovillian Headmaster.
- This is the first time the axe handed down from headmaster to headmaster has been converted into a guitar!
- Scovillia is in the midst of a SPICY exam period, so no students were able to come, much to the headmaster's disappointment...
- The Scovillian Headmaster's approach to music is alike his approach to education: sing with all you've got! That'll do it!
