Digipen is not a school that you go to to socialize. There's little to no social interaction and absolutely no party culture. There are really good professors, and there are genuinely horrible professors. I have learned new things while attending, I cant say whether or not I could have taught myself all of it, but I probably could have most of it. It's worthwhile for the connections and prestige if you can afford it.

A very prestigious school, for those who are seeking to take on Computer Science, Game Design or Film, get ready to test your knowledge to the extreme. The things you thought you knew will often become things you hardly knew, as the courses increase with intensity. In the scope of the Computer Science Game Design aspect, your first half of the year will not be entirely bad, but the Spring semester will become a whole different story. You will need to prioritize your time, focus and energy into this semester in order to maintain passing in everything. The information and hands on experience through these courses are unforgettable, in a good way, as you will feel accomplished and proud of what you have done, the stress that could derive from this can get mentally dangerous. I implore this college to help students that have a full time/part time job outside of this school, alleviate deadlines/strict assignment rulings to help compensate for outside of school working conditions.

Good environment to get in the mood for drawing. Many industry professionals that are truly passionate about their work. From the application process, there are many staffs, not just teachers, who are especially compassionate to prospective and accepted students. Helped greatly from start to finish in regards to the application and regularly check in on students.
